Compulsory purchase powers are provided to enable this to happen.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Having obtained the Railway Order, CIÉ can now commence the compulsory acquisition process. Iarnród Éireann has endeavoured to engage with all affected landowners prior to the submission of the Railway Order application in July 2024. In addition, details of all affected parties have been included in the Book of Reference and Railway Order drawings submitted as part of the Railway Order application.
