DART+ West Railway Order Application

The DART+ West project has now sought statutory approval for its design, with the submission of a Railway Order application to An Bord Pleanála on the 29th July 2022. An Bord Pleanála Statutory Consultation is now closed, as of 28th October 2022.

Welcome to the DART+ Programme

The DART+ Programme will revolutionise travel in the Greater Dublin Area. It will see the DART network grow from its current 50km in length to over 150km. Bringing DART travel with all its benefits to new and existing communities. It will promote multi modal transit, active transport, boost regional connectivity and make public transport the preferred option for more and more people.

The Railway Order application for DART+ West was submitted on 29th July 2022 and a new advertisement has been published which extends the period for making submissions to An Bord Pleanála to Friday 28th October 2022.

Public consultation round 1 on the emerging preferred option for DART+ Coastal North now closed

Iarnród Éireann have now concluded the 1st round of a non-statutory public consultation on the emerging preferred option for DART+ Coastal North project

Revised Ashtown Preferred Option

In response to submissions received during Public Consultation No. 2 for DART+ West, a revised Preferred Option for Ashtown has been developed. A localised Public Consultation is now live and will run for 4 weeks until 5pm Wednesday 6th April 2022.

DART+ Coastal North Public Consultation begins

The first round of public consultation on the DART+ Coastal North Emerging Preferred Option is now open until Friday 8th April 2022. Iarnród Éireann is hosting a series of public webinars to present the emerging preferred option and give communities along the route the opportunity to pose questions to the project team.
